Principal Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Principal Business Analyst to lead stakeholder engagement activities and design holistic business solutions that drive contemporary ways of working. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing the maturity of business analysis and design practices within the Queensland Parliamentary Service.

This is a temporary full-time position for 12 months with the possibility of extension.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Portfolio Planning: Lead strategy and roadmap development, business case development, and quality management.
• Operational Analysis: Analyse and assess current business operations and establish quantifiable performance baselines.
• Future State Design: Co-design future state models and workflows with stakeholders and vendors.
• Stakeholder Influence: Guide decision-making through key deliverables and business analysis activities.
• Quality Documentation: Ensure high-quality documentation using industry standards and tools.
• Framework Development: Develop and improve the Parliamentary Service's Enterprise Architecture Design, Business Analysis, and Quality Management principles.
