The Senior Lawyer – Crime Division is responsible for providing high quality and timely legal services and support to multi-disciplinary teams conducting crime investigations including participating in the planning, conduct and oversight of those investigations. This often includes high quality legal services as counsel assisting at Commission Hearings and ensuring that crime matters are conducted in pursuit of the CCC’s strategies and objectives and within jurisdiction, making optimal use of resources and powers. You will also be expected to liaise and consult about crime and proceeds of crime matters with other CCC officers and with external agencies, including the QPS and other law enforcement bodies, the DPP and public sector agencies.
