Your role

As an Aircraft Armament Technician in the Air Force, you’ll work on advanced weaponised aircraft such as the F-35A Lightning II, E/A-18G Growler and F/A-18F Super Hornet. You’ll work in a team to handle and maintain armament systems, ejection seat systems, air-launched munitions and associated equipment.

 

Your duties may include:

·       aircraft launch and recovery duties

·       maintenance and testing of aircraft armament systems

·       inspection, removal, and installation of aircraft components

·       working with explosives (Explosive Ordnance)

·       fault diagnostics

·       preparing, loading and downloading missiles, bombs and torpedoes to/from aircraft

·       preparing and using aircraft support equipment.

Salary

Upon completion of initial military and employment training, you will enjoy a salary package starting from $83,610.
