The Performance and Wellbeing section within Human Resources Branch delivers priority work for the department to help our employees feel safe, whole and well at work. We help to ensure we can represent the public we serve and embed diverse voices in decision making. Our recent work includes:

  • Developing the First Nations Workforce Strategy, a strategy that sets out our ambitions and targets for improved recruitment, retention and professional development of and for First Nations people.
  • Delivery of the Belonging at AGD toolkit, an online learning resource for staff that supports inclusion of staff from diverse backgrounds
  • Collaborating with the department's Indigenous Employee Network to deliver the Narragunnawali room - a dedicated space for First Nations staff
  • Delivering the Wellbeing Bonanza - a week of events and activities to support the wellbeing of staff
