Purpose of the Position

The Lecturer Foundation Skills is responsible for the delivery of quality Vocational Education and Training (VET) within the context of Batchelor Institute's role as Australia's leading First Nations Tertiary Education and Research provider. The Lecturer is responsible for the development and delivery of innovative VET programs underpinned by the Batchelor Institute Both-ways principles of practice in the areas of Foundation Skills Education and Training.


Duties

·       Conduct effective pre- and post- training ACSF assessments of learners.

·       Delivery of Certificate I and II Foundation Skills and other employability courses based on successful applicants’ relevant qualifications through a range of flexible methodologies.

·       Prepare training plans and enrolments forms and associated resources required for the effective and efficient delivery and assessment of courses.

·       Demonstrate awareness of VET educational theories; determine applicability of theories to the learning needs of individuals and groups and contribute to development of resources and programs based on the Batchelor Institute Learning and Teaching...
