The Department of Energy, Mines, Industry Regulation and Safety (DEMIRS) was formed on 1 July 2017, as a result of merging the Department of Commerce and Department of Mines and Petroleum. Our organisational structure is comprised of six groups arranged to deliver an efficient and effective service to our stakeholders.
